A New Method for Fixation of Drainage Catheters

This technical note reports on a new method of anchoring drainage catheters developed at the University of Malaya Medical Centre, based on the use of cable ties. This method can be implemented at a fraction of the cost of commercial anchoring devices, is easy to use, and has not been associated with any serious complications with trial use to date.
