Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma Presenting with Spontaneous Rupture

Spontaneous non-traumatic hepatic rupture is an uncommon condition and most often due to underlying hypervascular hepatic lesions. Cholangiocarcinomas are usually hypovascular and spontaneous rupture is extremely rare, very few such cases having been documented in the literature. We present here a patient with spontaneous hepatic rupture secondary to intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
